ZP Engineers Association’s state level meet on Nov. 20, many issues to be discussed.

Gadchiroli Nov. 17 (District Correspondent) Zilla Parishad Engineers Association has organized a state level conference of the Association at Suprabhat Mangal Karyalaya here on Nov. 20 next.

The state and district level office bearers and members of the Association will participate in this conference and will deliberate on various important issues relating to the engineers.

This was told by Mr. Sanjay Ugemuge, Advisor of the Association in a press conference at the Press Club here recently.

The main issues to be discussed in the conference are the Junior Engineers should be given the benefit of Dy. Engineer after 10 years of appointment and second benefit of Executive Engineer, vacant posts of Jr. Engineers and civil engineering Assistants be filled in immediately, separate sub divisions of electrical and mechanical departments be created as 20 percent of the ZP works are related to electrification, separate sub divisions of works, water conservation and rural water supply be created in every taluka, told Mr. Ugemuge.

The Association has demanded that the post of Civil Engineering Assistant be included in the office structure, long pending TA bills be reimbursed soon, accounts department officials be held responsible for the pending audit objections, TA bills be included in the monthly salary itself, seniority at the government level be updated soon, told Mr. Ugemuge further.

Also present at the press conference were Satish Marbade, State Working President, Mr. Kalidas Dhawle, District President, P. B. Zape, district secretary, Vikrant Meshram, State member, E. Y. Sidam, Parag Meshram, M. T. Ramteke, S. M. Durge, B. V. Shende, G. K. Shirpurkar, A. M. Agle and other members of the Engineers Association.
