Gadchiroli Sept. 12 (District Correspondent) The state government is trying to upgrade the quality of all the Zilla Parishad schools and convert them into smart schools and efforts are being made to ensure that government-aided schools are of the highest quality compared to private schools so that students get good education. The cooperation of teachers is important in this effort and it is through their contribution that the next generation will be created, asserted Minister of State and District Co-Guardian Minister Adv. Ashish Jaiswal.

Mr. Jaiswal was speaking at the felicitation ceremony of the District Level Teacher Merit Award 2025 winning teachers held at Niyojan Bhavan on Thursday through the video system.

The program was presided over by MP Dr. Namdev Kirsan while MLA Dr. Milind Narote, MLA Ramdas Masram, Additional CEO Rajendra Bhuyar, Principal Baliram Chaure, Executive Engineer Vinod Udharwar, District Agriculture Officer Kiran Khomne, Deputy Engineer Nitin Patil were prominently present.

Dr. Kirsan, in his presidential address, said that the role of teachers is very important for the educational progress of the district. He appealed to all teachers in the district to do quality work and provide proper guidance to students, as well as encourage other teachers.

Dr. Narote expressed the view that it is necessary to awaken students and provide technology-based education in the era of artificial intelligence. Mr. Masram said that all public representatives should take the initiative to provide physical facilities and modern educational materials to schools.

Mr. Rajendra Bhuyar said that seeing students achieve higher education and reach big positions is the real income of teachers. Award-winning teacher Ujjwala Bogami mentioned the challenges of remote areas and the efforts made to improve the quality of students by overcoming them. Primary teacher Pravin Munjumkar said that in the era of artificial intelligence, there is a need to provide education to students through modern means.

Award-winning teachers include Balaji Munde (Kurkheda), Vanashree Jadhav (Gadchiroli), Priti Navghade (Chamorshi), Sheetal Kumre (Korchi), Pravin Munjumkar (Desaiganj), Hemlata Akhade (Armori), Simple Mudholkar (Etapalli), Ujjwala Bogami (Bhamragad), Murli Gain (Mulchera), Surekha Meshram (Aheri), Ramesh Rachchawar (Sironcha), Vilas Darde (Dhanora), Gurudas Gomase  (Chamorshi) and Sandhya Mondhe (Dhanora).

The program was introduced by Education Officer (Primary) Babasaheb Pawar, conducted by Amarsingh Gedam and Dhananjay Dumpettiwar while vote of thanks was given by Jitendra Sahala.
