‘Zadipatti Drama’ training camp held at Munghate College.

Gadchiroli March 11 (District Correspondent) Cultural Affairs Department-Government of Maharashtra organized a Zadipatti Drama Training Camp at the Shri Govindrao Munghate Arts and Science College, Kurkheda recently.

The camp was inaugurated by Padma Shri Dr. Parashuram Khune, while the President of Dandakaranya Sanstha Dr. Rajabhau Munghate, was in the chair, Coordinator of the program, Dr. Gunwant Wadapalliwar was present on the dais.

Dr. Rajabhau Munghate thanked the Cultural Affairs Department of the Government of Maharashtra for organizing this drama training at the college. He appealed to the students to take advantage of this training and become artists like Padma Shri Dr. Parashuram Khune and enhance the reputation of their village, taluka, district and state along with themselves and stay away from various addictions.

Dr. Parashuram Khune said that the first play of Zadipatti was written and directed by late Mr. Govindrao Munghate, the founder of Dandakaranya Sanstha. Many artists and experts related to various theatre fields will guide the ten-day training, he informed.

In this training, many theatre artists, playwrights, and theatre directors like Sangeeta Tekale, Prabhakar Ambone, Asawari Naidu, Pralhad Meshram, Meena Deshpande from Nagpur, Principal Sadanand Borkar from Nawargaon, Vijay Mule, Dr. Shekhar Dongre from Shindewahi, Rakesh Khode, Dr. Dhanraj Khanorkar from Brahmapuri, and Dr. Rajkumar Musane from Ashti will guide the participants.

He said that the art qualities related to the theatre field should be imbibed through this training camp, suggested Dr. Khune.

The introductory speech was made by Dr. Gunwant Wadapalliwar, Dr. Deepak Bansod conducted the programme and Dr. Ravindra Vikhar proposed the vote of thanks.
