District NCP Youth President Liladhar Bharadkar led the agitation.

A large number of NCP youth workers assembled at the square and shouted slogans demanding early control on the prices of essential commodities and withdrawal of GST on food items.

The imposition of GST on the food grains like wheat, rice, dal and other staple grains by the central government is causing loss to the farmers and traders are taking advantage. The common people and laborers are facing severe financial difficulties. The GST should therefore be withdrawn immediately, demanded Mr. Ravindra Wasekar while speaking on the occasion.
