Gadchiroli May 11 (District Correspondent) The executive committee of the Gadchiroli center of the prestigious Yashwantrao Chavan Centre was recently announced.
After the death of the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Yashwantrao Chavan, the Yashwantrao Chavan Foundation was established on September 17, 1985. The President of this foundation is Mr. Sharad Chandra Pawar, Vice President Arun Gujarati and Executive President Ms. Supriya Sule. Based on the thoughts of Yashwantrao Chavan, this centre is known as a secular, non-partisan platform. The work of this centre continues uninterruptedly on the issues of education, health, disabled, senior citizens, women, youth and culture.
The executive committee of the Gadchiroli centre is as follows- President- Dr. Dharmaraobaba Atram, Executive President Principal Dr. Rajabhau Munghate, Vice President Dr. Rakesh Su. Chadgulwar, Secretary Rushikant L. Papadkar, Treasurer Omprakash Sangrame, Members- Prof. Dr. Gunwant Vadapalliwar, Dr. Mrs. Vandana Munghate, Prof. Dr. Rakhi Shambharkar, Invited Member- Prof. Sharad Dharne.
This executive committee will remain for five years. The executive chairman of the centre, Dr. Rajabhau Munghate has informed that in the coming period, lectures, book publications, and educational cultural and social awareness programs will be organized through the Gadchiroli center.
Many dignitaries from the district have congratulated the executive committee of the centre and have wished them well for the upcoming activities.
