Gadchiroli Jan. 14 (District Correspondent) A workshop for students of classes IX to XII under ‘School Connectivity 2.0’ campaign was organized at Govindrao Munghate college, Kukheda with the joint collaboration of the Gondwana University the other day in order to make the students aware of the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in the state and the latest educational changes.

This workshop was organized under the guidance of Prin. Dr. Rajabhau Munghate which was chaired by Vice Principal P. S. Khope and the chief guide was Dr. Arvind Mungole from Nevjabai Hitkarani College, Brahmapuri.  Dr. Narendra Arekar and Dr. Anil Bhoyar were present on the platform.

Dr. Arvind Mungole spoke about the National Education Policy, its scope, from when will this policy be implemented, which courses will we have after 12th, which components will be included in that course. He also dwelt upon National Education Policy and society, National Education Policy and the role of students, subjects of study in the National Education Policy, duration of the course and responsibility of students, various schemes and training of Gondwana University, etc.

The chairman of the program, Vice-Principal P. S. Khope, highlighted the National Education Policy and new challenges and asserted that students have a great responsibility to make the National Education Policy successful. The guides answered various questions asked by the students during this workshop.

Many students from Vidya Bharati Junior Science College, Swarndeep Junior College attended the workshop.

The program was introduced and coordinated by the coordinator of the college’s N. E. P. Dr. Deepak Bansod and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Sanjay Mahajan. To make the program a success, Prof. Gunwant Wadapallivar, Dr. Bhaskar Tupte, Prof. Dhanraj Lanje, Prof. Tirupati Borkar, Prof. Shailesh Hadap, Prof. Prashant Bansod, Prof. Harish Bavanthade and others provided valuable assistance.
