Gadchiroli Sept. 2 (District Correspondent) Vishwajit Marotrao Kowase Mitra Pariwar and Gadchiroli District Youth Congress had organized a district level general knowledge competition to mark the birthday of District Congress Committee chief Mahendra Bramhanwade recently.
The contest evoked tremendous response and as many as 1870 students and youths participated in it. The prizes were distributed to the winners at the hands of Gadchiroli -Chimur Lok Sabha MP Dr. Namdev Kirsan, Former MP Marotrao Kowase, State President of Youth Congress Kunal Raut, District Congress Committee chief Mahendra Brahmanwade Raut, Ajit Singh, State Youth Congress Secretary Adv. Vishwajit Kowase Gadchiroli District Youth Congress President Nitesh Rathod.
Ms. Mayuri Naitam got the first prize, Shreya Jumnake second, Sanchita Tipale third, and Afian Qureshi, Drishna Vijay Kairkar won the incentive prizes from group A. In group B, first Prize went to Prajwal Bhasarkar, second Shravan Gaddamwar, third Shreyas Mohurle and incentive prize to Sangharsh Bhurse, Tanushree Suresh Kotgale.
In open category, first prize was won by Vaishnavi Fulzele, second Homraj Mogarkar, third Prize Deepak Gurunule, incentive Prize Laxmanbabu Pedapalli, Rahul Shende, Rahul Atram.
Former ZP Vice President Manohar Patil Poretti, City Congress President Satish Vidhate, senior leader Hasanbhai Gilani, Mahila Congress President Adv. Kavita Mahorkar, Rajesh Thakur, Rajnikant Motghare, Rupesh Tiklay, Abdulbhai Panjavani, Vasant Raut, Pramod Bhagat, Prashant Koram, Shankarao Salotkar Atul Mallelwar were also present on the occasion besides students, youths, teachers and parents.
