Gadchiroli Aug. 20 (District Correspondent) The first three school ICSE 2025 toppers of Vianney Vidya Niketan, run by the Asha Niketan Church Society, Wasa were felicitated in a grand function held here the other day.
Fr. Jeevan Dhongre, presided over the function, while Fr. Tomy Chovelikudiyil, Principal, Sister Elsy George were present on the occasion.
Principal Fr. Tomy Chovelikudiyil felicitated the toppers and teachers for their hard work for registering 100 percent result for the nineth consecutive year. Later, three school toppers – Bhargav Indrajit Sangole, Shlok Vijay Kirmirwar, Manjiri Sudarshan Mohurle, Radhika Sunil Sahare were felicitated with Bishop Januarius Memorial Awards sponsored by the school. Dr. John M Chacko awards instituted by Laurels School, Indore, and Hyderabad.
The well-wishers’ awards were given by Fr. Jeevan Dhongare. Students Radhika Sunil Sahare, Manjiri Sudarshan Mohurle and Kesar Shailej Majoke who scored full marks in Physical Education subject were also awarded. A special incentive gift was given away to the Physical Education teacher Suraj Khobragade.
Isiah Gollamudi memorial award was given away to Shok Vijay Kirmirwar who scored the highest in English at the school level sponsored by Nalini Solomon. All the first three class toppers of std. I to IX and hundred percent attendees for the academic year were also awarded at the hands of the dignitaries on the occasion.
The guests, toppers were welcomed by staff secretary Rupesh Kunghadkar, Prashant Palpalliwar conducted the proceedings while Lata Godari proposed a vote of thanks. Parents, teachers and students were present in large numbers.
