Gadchiroli Feb. 10 (District Correspondent) The meeting of All India Republican Party Taluka Dhanora was recently held at Government Rest House Dhanora. In this meeting, various problems of the people of Dhanora taluka were discussed in detail and some important resolutions were passed.
The problems discussed included immediate permission should be given to unveil the statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar erected by the Buddhist community in Dhanora, payment of NREGA laborers withheld due to lack of Aadhaar link should be made immediately, work of Aadhaar link of laborers should be done in every village, government and semi-government employees should be made to stay at their respctive headquarters, A road near village Lekha on Dhanora- Gadchiroli highway should be repaired immediately, the payment for the houses being built under the Gharkul scheme should be made immediately, the tender for the collection of Tendu leaves under PESA should be done at the Gram Panchayat level, the work of employment guarantee should be started in the taluka, payment of the paddy purchased by the Adiwasi Mahamandal be made immediately, the purchase of paddy through the Corporation should be extended till March 31, etc.
In the meeting chaired by Dhanora Taluka President Ramesh Barsagde of the Republican Party, Central Vice President of the party Rohidas Raut, State Vice President Kulpati Meshram, Vidarbha Vice President Prin. Prakash Dudhe, State Secretary Prof. Rajan Borkar, Legislative Assembly Speaker Pradeep Bhaisare, District President Hansraj Undirwade, Vice President Duryodhan Sahare, Vishal Singh Parihar, Bhanudas Bambode, Giridhar Barsagade and other activists were present.
It was warned in the meeting that if these demands are not met immediately, the party will launch an agitation..
