Gadchiroli July 12 (District Correspondent) A collection of poetry ‘Dolas Vhayachay’ composed by poet and ANIS activist Upendra Rohankar was released at the hands of Mr. Bandopant bodhekar, well known poet recently.

Dr. Rajni Wadhai, Sunita Tagwan of Rachna Prakashan, Dr. Chandrakant Lengure, President of 31st Zadiboli Sahitya Sammelan, Prashant Bhandare were prominently present.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bodhekar said literature is the mirror of social life and poets should take the initiative to inculcate scientific approach in the mind of the society to create a healthy society. As the is an activist of Andhasraddha Nirmulan Samiti, poet Upendra Rohankar has presented his views in the poems very effectively, that will be useful for the people, he stated.

Mr. Upendra Rohankar expressed his views, Prashant Bhandare commented on this collection of poems, Sunita Tagwan recited her favourite composition. Mr. Purushottam Thakre made the introduction speech while Kamlesh Zade conducted the programme, Prof. By Vinayak Dhanorkar proposed the vote of thanks.

On this occasion, various literary awards of the Zadiboli Sahitya Sammelan were also presented to the winners. The best folk artist award was given to Tulshiram Undirwade, the best poetry collection award to Vrinda Pagadpalliwar, the best Zadiboli poetry collection award to Prof. Dr. Indrakala Bopche and the best literary production award was given to dramatist Chudaram Ballarpure.

In the second session, a Kavi Sammelan was held under the chairmanship of ghazal writer Milind Umre. President of Chandrapur Zadiboli Sahitya Mandal Arun Zagadkar, Dr. Praveen Kilnake, Prof. Ram Wasekar were prominently present. Ms. Premila Alone enthralled the audience with a song.

Poets from different places in Chandrapur and Gadchiroli district presented their poems. Mr. Sanjeev Borkar, Maroti Arewar, Pratishka Kodape, Jitendra Raipure were also present. A large number of activists, poets attended the programme.
