Gadchiroli Nov. 2 (District Correspondent) If there is unity and organization, no one can stop the progress and development of that society and all-round progress of the society is achieved, said former Guardian Minister Raje Ambrishrao Atram while addressing the Kunbi community the other day.
The rally was held in the premises of Raje Dharmarao Krishi Vidyalaya,
Aheri. Akhil Kunbi Samaj had organized this rally along with the felicitation of the dignitaries from the community who have achieved remarkable achievements.
The programme was presided over by Ms. Ashatai Pohnekar, President of the Kunbi Samaj. Prof. Jayashree Khonde who received the state ideal teacher award, Pushpa Pachbhai, a nurse from Chandrapur who received the President’s award, Dinkar Jivtode, Vaman Devalkar, Vitthal Nagapure, Mahadev Maske, Jeevanrao Gonde were feliocitated on the occasion for their remarkable achievements by presenting them shawl, bouquet and mementos at the hands of the guests.
Youth leader Kumar Avdheshrao Baba Atram, PSI Karishma More, Prof. Dr. Santosh Dakhre were present as the chief guests. Earlier Raje Ambrishrao Atram was felicitated on behalf of the Kunbi Samaj.
During the event, a book “Unknown Countries in the World and India ” authoured by Prof. Dr. Santosh Dakhre of Raje Visveshwarao College, Bhamragarh was released at the hands of the dignitaries.
Introductory speech was delivered by Mr. Praveen Buran, Ms. Jija Gohokar conducted the programme and vote of thanks was proposed by Maroti Gourkar. For the success of the programme Diwakar Waghmare, Praveen Buran, Yadav Dhanorkar, Maroti Gaurkar, Maroti Pipre, Principal Anil Bhongle, Geeta Jivtode, Ghanmala Jamunkar and others took pains.
The programme was attended by a large number of community members.
