Gadchiroli Sept. 16 (District Correspondent) Two books ‘Chitralipi and Samishra’ penned by Ms. Sandhya Sheshrao Yelekar and Vinodkumar Nawghade were released in a program organized at the DCC Bank meeting hall here at the hands of Mr. Arvind Poreddiwar, senior cooperative leader.
Prof. Anil Dhamode, senior journalist presided over the program, while the chief guest was Prof. Puneet Matkar, lecturer of the District Education and Training Institute, and Dr. Narendra Arekar, head of the Marathi department at Govindrao Munghate College, Kurkheda.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Poreddiwar said that Sandhya Yelekar had to work very hard to produce these books. Both these books are definitely for the benefit of the social system. More than that, both the authors have done a very good job of preservation of culture and for the artists also who will get inspiration from these books.
Prof. Dhamode in his presidential speech appreciated the writing skill of Sandhya Yelekar and Vinodkumar Nawghade. The books will get good response from the readers, he hoped. Today, Yelekar has made her mark as a writer and these books will be a new example in the literary world, he added.
Dr. Narendra Arekar, said that both these books give a new perspective to the readers. This is a book of a different nature and that poetry based on a picture or work of art created from it is a unique experiment, he observed.
Prof. Punit Matkar, while commenting on the book Chitralipi, said that when artists and poets come together, a beautiful work of art like hieroglyphics takes shape. The book that captures nature, relationships, soil, village, human life, emotions, colours, etc. in these hieroglyphics reveals the nuances of their meanings is very tempting.

The program was attended by Principal Dr. Rajubhau Munghate, Anil Patil Mashakhetri, Dadaji Chaple, Sharad Brahmanawade, Shaligram Vidhate, Chudaram Ballarpure, Dr. Suresh Ladke and many others.
