Gadchiroli June 14 (District Correspondent) The inter battalion ‘tug of war’ contest was organized by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 192 battalion recently at its training campus in MIDC area here.
The contest was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Jagdeesh Narayan Meena, DIG of CRPF.
As many as 11 teams from different battalions of western sector of CRPF participated in the contest. The contestants were administered an oath of sports by the senior officers.
The contest will last for three days. On the first day 5 matches were played. In the first match 192 bn. defeated 37 bn., in the second match 242 bn. defeated Pune centre team, in the third match 191 bn. defeated Gandhinagar Group team, in the fourth match 102 RAF team defeated 113 bn. and in the fifth match 9 bn. defeated 11 RAF team.
