Tribal women are symbols of struggle, determination and self-respect in Indian social life. But they still have to face many difficulties. Tribal women should get the educational, social, economic and political rights provided by the Indian Constitution. They should be given priority in reservation, land rights, health care, education and employment opportunities, said Prof. N. S. Gajbhiye President of NASI.
Even today tribal women are given secondary treatment in many places. We have to make the equality movement more effective to stop injustice, discrimination and exploitation against them. Tribal women need to get more opportunities in the fields of education, health, entrepreneurship and politics.
