Gadchiroli Aug. 29 (District Correspondent) Various public welfare schemes are being implemented by the state government. It is also ensuring that the benefit of the schemes reaches to the beneficiaries. Recently two months amount of Ladki Bahin Yojana has also been deposited. The people should not fall prey to the blunders of the opponents, said Food and Drug Administration Minister Dr. Dharma Rao Baba Atram.
He was addressing a meeting of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) workers at village Burgi in Etapalli taluka. Former Panchayat Samiti member Harsh Vardhan Baba Atram, NCP District President Ravindra Wasekar, Taluka President Shrikant Kokkulwar, Sarpanch Vilas Gawde, former ZP members Sanjay Charduke, Ramji Kattiwar, NCP activists Sugad Urade, former Panchayat Samiti Chairman Baby Narote were prominently present.
Mr. Atram further said, the opposition leaders come at the times of elections and give speeches. Then for five years, they disappear for the rest of time. Now it is necessary to think about who works for our people. There will be a grand coalition government in the state once again, he said.
Mr. Ravindra Wasekar and other dignitaries also spoke in the meeting. They appealed the people to stand behind Dharmarao Baba and get him elected with a large number of votes.
A large number of NCP workers from various villages in the area were present in the program. As soon as Mr. Atram arrived at Burgi village, the tribals of Burgi and other villages welcomed him in a traditional way.
