Gadchiroli Jan. 25 (District Correspondent) Even though educational institutions are endowed with modern knowledge, the education given by Sant Dnyaneshwar, Sant Tukaram, Sant Gadge Maharaj should be obtained from social education institutions. Today, there is a need to provide education like the one given by Maa Jijau to Shivaji Maharaj. Students like Savarkar, Indira Gandhi, Sachin Tendulkar should be produced from such institutions, said Padam Shri Dr. Parashuram Khune, well known stage artist.

He was speaking at a sports and cultural festival of Mahatma Gandhi Art Science and Late Nasruddinbhai Panjwani Commerce College, Armori the other day.

Mr. Manojbhau Wanmali, President of the Sanstha presided over the programme while Mr. Noorallibhai Panjwani, Deepak Behere, Deepak Wanmali, Mayur Wanmali, Monali Sahare, Principal of the college Dr. Lalsingh Khalsa, Principal of Mahatma Gandhi Junior College Sainath Adalwar, Principal of Mahatma Gandhi Girls’ School akash Pandhare, Principal of Vatsalabai Vanmali School of Scholars Nitin Kasar, Director of Physical Education Dr. Dnyaneshwar Thakre, Head of Cultural Department Dr. Chandrakant Dorlikar and Prof. Shashikant Gedam were present on the stage.

Mr. Manojbhau Vanmali said that the cultural festival comes once a year. We conduct this program with the aim of lightening the burden of studies and also to give a chance to the latent and artistic skills of the students. However, many students like Monali Sahare, Vivek Thackeray, Durvas Karkade, Santosh Mashakhetri are increasing the reputation of the college through this. We should recognize the diamonds and work to shape them and pave a beautiful path for them in life, he added.

Dr. Lalsingh Khalsa also reiterated that the college has produced many artists from this stage. An artist brings some qualities from birth. We provide the environment. This is our job. Many artists are working further by taking inspiration from this college. The students should continue to work and the right environment will be provided to them from the college, he promised.
