
Gadchiroli May 27 (District Correspondent) Smit Chandrabhan Madavi, a tribal youth from Gadchiroli has been selected for Chemical Engineering (M.Tech) in the famous IISc (Indian Institute of Science), Bangalore. He is one among the 30 students in the country selected for this course.
The Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore is a prestigious institution in the country. Many world-famous scientists have been produced through this institution. Only promising students are selected in this institution. Smit Madavi from Gadchiroli has made his place among the 30 students in the country selected for the institution on the basis of his hard work and ability.
Smit completed his B.Tech at the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) in Mumbai. Meanwhile, he appeared for the GATE exam. in which he secured 1200th rank. Living in a very remote district like Gadchiroli, Smit has achieved great heights due to his determination and hard work.
Smit’s father Chandrabhan Madavi is working in the Gadchiroli District Police Force and is currently posted at the Gadchiroli City Police Station. His mother Kavita Madavi is a housewife. Smit said that he was inspired to achieve this position by the work of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and Kranti Surya Birsa Munda.
