Gadchiroli Aug. 4 (District correspondent) Sironcha taluka congress committee has demanded early solving of the civic problems and give relief to the citizens.
A delegation of the congress workers recently called on the President of Nagar Parishad and submitted him a memorandum of various demands. The main demands included the city be provided with air-conditioned mortuary refrigerators (AC coffins) as they have to suffer a lot for performing the last after the death of their relatives. No any AC coffins are available in the city hence the people have to face lot of problems, it was pointed out.
The water ATMs which are closed in the city should be repaired, high mast street lights should be repaired immediately, anti-malarial spraying should be done immediately to stop the mosquito menace, city roads should be repaired immediately etc.
The President of Nagar Panchayat discussed the issues in detail and gave a positive response and promised the delegation to resolve the issues soon.
Congress taluk president Satishbhau Jawaji, senior Congress leader Mr. Brahmanand Kottagattu, Shankar Mancharla, Maruti Ganpurpuvar, Adapa Mallya, Samaya Chilmula, Anand Asha, city president Abdul Salam, city vice president Praveen Namani, Majid Ali of Youth Congress and other Congress workers were present in the delegation.
