Gadchiroli July 7 (District Correspondent) Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar are visiting Gadchiroli on July 8 to attend the “Government at Your Doorstep” programme.

The benefit of various schemes and certificates have been given to 6.97 lakh citizens in Gadchiroli district so far under this initiative. The event is organized at the playground of Kotgal MIDC. Gadchiroli district has shown the best performance under this scheme and distributed the maximum benefits in the state for which the district administration is being appreciated all over the state.

As the government has given various certificates along with schemes to the needy people through this initiative, now it will be convenient for them to take the benefit of the schemes of the government. The success of any scheme depends on people orientation, transparency and easy functioning. The work of the common people needs to be done easily and at the local level. Keeping this in mind, the government is going directly to the door of the people so that the citizens can get the benefits of various schemes.

A large number of beneficiaries from various villages of the district will participate in this programme. The benefits of the schemes will also be distributed to thousands of beneficiaries at the hands of the dignitaries on the occasion.

The citizens need various government documents such as caste certificate, income certificate, age and domicile certificate, non-creamy layer, farmer certificate, labour card, life expectancy card, ration card correction, various certificates from village panchayat, various records of citizens, voter registration or name correction etc for their day-to-day works. Keeping this in mind, the benefits of schemes in different 33 schemes have been provided in Gadchiroli district.

District Collector Sanjay Meena has called upon the people to attend the programme in large numbers.
