Gadchiroli Oct. 26 (District Correspondent) An online seminar on the ‘effective implementation of the Har Ghar Sanvidhan’ was organized by the district branch of Sanvidhan Foundation recently. Mr. E. Z. Khobragade, founding president of Sanvidhan Foundation, Ms. Rekhatai Khobragade, Deepak Niranjan were the chief guests. Mr. Rohidas Raut, senior journalist, presided over the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Khobragade said with the consistent follow-up of the Foundation, the Maharashtra Government has issued a GR on October 10 last regarding celebration of the Ghar Ghar Sanvidhan Program from this year. It is necessary to seek sufficient participation of the civil society to reach the constitution house to house. For effective implementation at the government level as well as private institutions and schools- colleges, the administration should involve the Foundation, he suggested.
All those working in the education field should also make efforts to inculcate constitutional values among the students, reach the constitution to marginalized communities, women and create awareness about their fundamental rights and duties. Holding meetings in all districts, construction of constitution preamble pillars, developing constitution villages as part of propagating constitution culture were also suggested by Mr. Khobragade.
Mr. Rohidas Raut in his presidential speech appreciated the efforts and follow up made by by Mr. E.Z. Khobragade for the GR of Har Ghar Sanvidhan. Constitution awareness movement was started in the country by Mr. Khobragade, he noted adding that Foundation has done a great work and it is a work of nation building.
In fact, the work that the Constitution Foundation is doing is the work of the government and the government should provide funds for this campaign, Raut demanded. He promised to carry on the campaign effectively with the help of the administration in Gadchiroli district as per the GR issued by the government.
On the occasion of Amrit Mahotsava year of the Constitution, it was decided to conduct programs in 75 villages and organize the constitution conferences at the taluka level.
Mr. Deepak Niranjan, Devanand Fulzele also expressed their views and stressed the need of effective implementation of the campaign. Mr. Jeevan Bachhav, Vijay Bele, Kalpana Kamble, Digambar gondane, vinod Khandekar, Prakash Durge, Smita Ramteke, Prof. Pramod Meshram, Ramesh Kusnake, Santaram Madavi and many others from different parts of the state participated in the seminar.
Mr. Gautam Meshram, Chief Convenor of Sanvidhan Foundation explained the role of the seminar in the introduction, Mahesh Madavi moderated the session, Ms. Pushpa Mankar read the constitution preamble and Vanita Kannake gave vote of thanks.
