Gadchiroli June 8 (District Correspondent) A one-day training on Constitution Awareness was organized at Rani Durgavati Vidyalaya, Alapalli in which a total of 73 people participated to work as Constitution Ambassadors.
The training camp was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. E. Z. Khobragade, a former IAS officer and founder of Sanvidhan Foundation, Nagpur. The chairperson was Ms. Rekhatai Khobragade. Mr. Deepak Niranjan, Alka Niranjan, Gautam Meshram, District Coordinator Sanvidhan Foundation Gadchiroli, Dr. Sumati Naitam were present as the chief guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Khobragade convinced the Samvidhan Ambassadors about the need for awareness of the Constitution in the society. The human values of the Constitution teach how a person should treat another person. How to be honest in our work. How to treat the last person while working in the administration. He narrated many inspiring incidents and experiences that he came across with the tribals during his service at Aheri.
Mr. Gautam Meshram stressed the need to create responsible, caring, and productive citizens who follow the constitutional values through education. All the core components of the curriculum are based on constitutional values and how the education system can play an important role in this work.
Mr. Gautam Meshram, explained about the values of constitution, Mahesh Madavi spoke on the constitutional duties of citizens, Ganesh Surtekar explained the fundamental rights of citizens was taken up by, and Prof. Pramod Meshram spoke on constitutionalism is nationalism.
The action plan for the work to be done at the village level by the Constitution Ambassador was also finalized in the camp. National Award-winning teacher Khurshid Sheikh presented a song Samvidhan Meri Jaan and enlightened the attendees. Mr. Diwakar Madeshi presented a song on the Constitution. Certificates were distributed to the participating Constitution Ambassadors.
The program was conducted by Mr. Ganesh Surtekar, the introduction was given by Mahesh Madavi, and the vote of thanks was given by Prin. Gajanan Lonbale. Dr. Ganesh Madavi, Laxman Durge, Pankaj Dahagaonkar, Vanita Kannake, Smita Ramteke, Sandeep Meshram worked hard to make the training a success. A total of 73 training ambassadors participated in the training.
