
Gadchiroli March 2 (District Correspondent) With the noble objective of creating awareness and interest in competitive examinations among the students of the extremely backward Bhamragad taluka, and encouraging them to join the administrative service, a one-day workshop was organized by the Sanj Multi Activity Development Institute, Binagunda, Bhamragad the other day.
The workshop was chaired by the Principal, Mr. S. S. Pathan. Mr. D. V. Domb, Police Inspector, Ms. Dhanashree Sagane, PSI, Nikita Khadekar, PSI, Bhamragad, Shabbir Baig Mughal, social worker, Mr. Ruplal Gongle, founder of the Institute were prominently present.
The programme was organized at Bhagwantrao Ashram School, Bhamragad. Students from the government boys’ and girls’ hostels in the taluka, as well as students from various colleges, participated.
Mr. D.V. Domb gave in-depth guidance on the subject of preparing for competitive exams, developing students’ intellectual abilities, and personality development. Students participate in MPSC, UPSC and other competitive exams but take the exam without understanding the scope of the competitive exam, due to which they have to face failure, he pointed out. Students should study for this exam by devoting themselves and self-evaluating the benefits of reading books.
Dhanashree Sagane guided on what is a competitive exam, types of competitive exams. A free study center is being started by the organization at Bhamragad and various books are available there. Students should study the books, she appealed.
Mr. Pathan felicitated the winners of the 1600-meter men’s marathon competition, Ms. Kashinath Durva, Ms. Sarju Majji, Ms. Manoj Telami, and meritorious students.
