Gadchiroli Sept. 16 (District Correspondent) Various cultural programmes were organized at Samidha College of Civil Services here recently to welcome the students of the current academic year.
During the programme, the first-year students were welcomed by the second- and third-year students of B.A. Civil Services. Many programs like introduction of first year students, dance, singing, fashion show, games were conducted on this occasion and students actively participated in these programmes and gave their response.
Chetan Mashakhetri was awarded Mr. Fresher title and Sweety Bawne was given the Ms. Fresher title for the current academic year. They were welcomed by Mr. Kalidas Raut, President of the college by presenting them ribbons.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Raut adviced the students to develop their talents, develop personality, keep affection with seniors and juniors. He also asked them to be attentive to studies and extended his best wishes for their academic career.
Prof. Ankush Gohne, Prof. Pritam Kohpare, Mr. Sushant Raut, Mr. Madhukar Rohankar and many students showed their presence. Ms. China Bhoyar moderated the programme and Yash Chavan gave the vote of thanks. A large number of students attended the programme.
