Gadchiroli Dec. 22 (District Correspondent) A one-day study tour of the Samidha College of Civil Services was organized recently at the winter session of the Maharashtra legislature.

The legislature is the branch of government that makes laws and it is a part of the students’ curriculum. The legislature consists of the Governor, the State Assembly, and the Legislative Council. To show these institutes and their working and to enable the students to study them in practical, a one-day winter session study tour of the third-year students of B.A. Civil Services at Samidha College of Civil Services Adpalli (Gogaon) was organized.

During this study tour, the students got to see the workings of the Legislative Assembly for thirty minutes. In it, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra was talking about the Ladki Bahin Yojana and EVM which the students listened.

The students also got to see the workings of the Legislative Council for twenty minutes. After seeing the workings of both the houses, some questions arose among the students and the answers to these questions were given by the college principals Manoj Dholne and Prof. Ankush Gohne who accompanied the students during the tour.

Through this winter session, the students got a new inspiration to go into government and administration. The president of the college Kalidas Raut, wished the students well for their future endeavor.
