Gadchiroli Feb. 10 (District Correspondent) An educational guidance program was organized at Samidha College of Civil Services here the other day for the academic progress of rural and underprivileged students of the district. ‘Opportunities of higher education abroad’ was the topic of the programme.
The program was chaired by Mr. Manoj Dholne, Principal of the college and the keynote speakers were Mr. Jai Bharat Chaudhari, University of Edinburgh, Scotland, Aniruddha Mahajan, PhD Scholar, University of Edinburgh, Scotland, Priya Baburao Kamble from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Through this programme, the speakers explained to the students about the education they are currently receiving. There is education beyond this class room education too, they told. The speakers gave detailed information about the opportunities for education abroad and appealed the students to avail such opportunities. There should be strong determination in our hearts and we can achieve our goals, they stated. Study consistently and build your next career, was the message given by the speakers in this programme.
The program was conducted by Prof. Sunil Lohkare and the vote of thanks was given by Prof. Ankush Gohne. The teachers and non-teaching staff of the college and many students attended the program.
