Gadchiroli Aug. 2 (District Correspondent) From Kotwal at the village level to senior officials, the revenue department is alert day and night in the service of the people. They work for keeping records from birth to death and rush in case of emergency. They have been making invaluable contribution to the progress of the district, said Mr. Vivek Ghodke, Additional Collector while addressing the ‘Revenue Day’ programme at the collectorate here the other day.
He further said that doing one’s duty in the spirit of service would help improve the image of the department. Deputy Superintendent of Police Vijay Chavan was the special guest. He said that revenue officials have been carrying out duties duties flawlessly by going to remote and sensitive areas.
Mr. Sunil suryawanshi, RDC, district Supply Officer Aghav Patil, Sub Divisional Officer Kurkheda Vivek Salunke, Planning Officer Shriram Pachkhede, Personal Assistant Praveen Gujjanwar, Naib Tehsildar Amol Gawhare were prominently present.
Mr. Sunil Suryavanshi introduced the program and gave detailed information about the revenue fortnight. Ms. Kale gave the details of Ladki Bahin scheme, Ganesh Gedam spoke about setu kendra services, Arvind Shende gave the information of e-transfer of land. Naib Tehsildar Amol Gawhare and Head Clerk Jyoti Tayde coordinated the program and vote of thanks was given by Vanishyam Yerme.
