Gadchiroli Sept. 29 (District Correspondent) ‘Any research should be done wholeheartedly. Our research needs to be useful to the society as well. The quality of the research that is done from the heart is always good and it is a guide to others, so it is necessary to think carefully while doing any research. Our research reports should not be limited to the library but should be useful for the development of the society’.

This was stated by Dr. Rajabhau Munghate, Principal of Shri Govindrao Munghate College of Arts and Sciences, Kurkheda while addressing the PhD students of the research centre of the college the other day.

Dr. Vijay Revatkar, Head of Marathi Department of Mahatma Gandhi College, Armori was the subject expert. Gajendra Kadav, of Department of Sociology. Vice Principal P.S. Khope, Head of Research Center Prof. Dr. Ravindra Vikhar, Prof. Narendra Arekar were prominently present.

Dr. Munghate extended his best wishes to all the researchers who have registered for the PhD degree, wishing them bright future. As many as 16 students have registered at the research centre of the college for the degree of PhD in Marathi and Sociology.

The half-yearly report was presented to the Subject expert Prof. Dr. Revatkar and Dr. Khadhav. They also answered the questions asked by the researchers. Dr. Dinesh Kumar Ambade and Ashish Yellewar, who received state teachers award, Mr. Jitendra Saha who cleared the exam. of Extension Officer and Santosh Chalakh who cleared the SET exam. were felicitated at the hands of Dr. Rajabhau Munghate on the occasion.

Prof. Narendra Arekar conducted the program and Dr. Ravindra Vikhar thanked the participants Tokash Kolhe, Lokesh Raut, Chandrakant, Lochan Zode and others took pains to make the program successful.
