
Gadchiroli Oct. 17 (District Correspondent) National President of the All-India Republican Party, Praveen alias Balasaheb Khobragade, announced that his party will fight the upcoming local body elections with full force by uniting all the factions of the Republican Party.
He made this announcement while speaking as the chief guest at the district rally of the party that was held at the Chemist Bhavan here the other day.
Republican Party District President Hansraj Undirwade presided over the gathering, while Central Vice President Rohidas Raut, Ashok Nimgade, Samta Sainik Dal’s Ashok Tembhre, Republican Student Federation President Rajas Khobragade, Communist Party’s Devrao Chavde, State Vice President Kulpati Meshram, Regional Secretary Prin. Prakash Dudhe, senior leaders Puneshwar Dudhe, Dr. Haridas Nandeshwar, Surekhatai Barsagade, Central Member Rajabhau Khobragade, Chandrapur District President Premdas Borkar, General Secretary Pralhad Raipure, Mahila Aghadi District President Neeta Sahare, General Secretary Jyoti Undirwade, Aruna Raut, Buddhist Mahasabha’s Prof. Gautam Dange, Assembly chief Pradeep Bhaisare, Office Secretary Ashok Khobragade, Youth Front’s Narendra Raipure were mainly present on the dais.
Saying that strengthening and energizing the Republican movement is the need of the hour, Balasaheb also appealed to all the workers to work to regain the glory of the party that was during the time of Barrister Rajabhau Khobragade.
Rohidas Raut said, the Republican Party has always been fighting for the Dalits and oppressed people and this struggle is still going on. Many of the movements carried out by this party, including the satyagraha of the landless, are still remembered by the people. The party has also done well in electoral politics. Today, it is very necessary to strengthen this party once again.
Saying that the Republican Party is not just a political organization, it is a mass movement, Ashok Nimgade reviewed the past history of the party and expressed his belief that only the Republican Party can provide justice to the common people through its public agitations.
On this occasion, other distinguished guests also gave timely speeches and all of them emphasized on strengthening the Republican Party for the interests of the comman people.
In this gathering, many women and men activists joined the party believing in the goals and policies of the Republican Party. All of them were welcomed with bouquets. Mr. Rohidas Raut was felicitated on the occasion on his birthday by presenting him shawl and bouquet at the hands of Mr. Khobragade. The program was introduced by Prin. Prakash Dudhe, conducted by Prof. Rajan Borkar and the vote of thanks was given by Narendra Raipure.
