Gadchiroli Jan. 27 (District Correspondent) Stating that the government is committed to overall development of Gadchiroli district Minister of State and District’s Co-Guardian Minister Adv. Ashish Jaiswal has appealed to everyone to make joint efforts to make the district advanced and progressive’

On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, Adv. Jaiswal saluted the national flag at the main government program at the Police Training Ground here and wished the citizens. District Collector Avishyant Panda, MP Dr. Namdeo Kirsan, MLA Dr. Milind Narote, Superintendent of Police Nilotpal, CEO in-charge of Zilla Parishad Rajendra Bhuyar were prominently present.

Adv. Jaiswal further said that in the last few years, the pace of development in Gadchiroli district has increased due to the efforts of the Central and State Governments. After the inauguration of the World Economic Forum held in Davos recently, the first investment agreement was signed for Gadchiroli district under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. This agreement will give a boost to the iron project in the district. He expressed confidence that Gadchiroli district, which is creating a new identity as a ‘steel hub’, in the future, will play an important role in the goal of taking Maharashtra’s economy to 1 trillion dollars by 2027.

Mentioning the development of infrastructure in the district, he said that rail, air, and road connectivity projects are progressing rapidly. The government’s goal is to increase economic income and improve the quality of life of the people by bringing the benefits of various government schemes to every household. Apart from this, the district has also made good progress in health services and concrete steps are being taken to provide better health facilities in the future.

Mr. Jaiswal said that emphasis is being given on taking the district on the path of progress by taking all sections of the society along. He appreciated the anti-Maoist action of the police force and expressed confidence that Gadchiroli district will soon be free from Maoism.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has taken the guardianship of the district and has resolved to ensure its sustainable development, and as the co-guardian minister, a big responsibility has been entrusted to me in that direction, he said. He expressed his belief that in the future Gadchiroli will be known as the most advanced district in the state.

On this occasion, Mr. Jaiswal inspected the parade and accepted the salute of the parade procession. Those who have done remarkable work in various fields were felicitated by him. The dog squad of the police force presented an attractive demonstration and in the cultural program, Saraswati Vidyalaya, Vidyavihar Convent, Navjeevan Public School, Pragya Sanskar Convent, Chhatrapati Shivaji Academy also performed a group dances.
