Gadchiroli Sept. 3 (District Correspondent) Raje Ambrishrao Maharaj, former minister of state and senior leader visited the indefinite no work protest agitation site of the National Health Mission (NHM) contractual officers and employees which they have launched in front of the Sub-District Hospital and Taluka Health Centre at Aheri on Tuesday and understood the demands of the protesting officials.

As per the decision of the Government of Maharashtra dated March 14, 2024, the contractual officials working in NHM had to be regularized in the government service. However, the state government has stopped the process of regularization in government service and it should be carried out immediately and for those who have completed 10 years of their service, demanded the protesting employees.

To press up the demand the employees have launched an “Indefinite No- Work Agitation” protest. They have also demanded that the implementation of transfer policy, salary increase, EPF, health and accident insurance, etc. Their demands were discussed by Raje Ambrishrao Maharaj and said that their demands were justified and that they would be followed up with the state government to find a solution quickly.

During the visit, youth leader Kumar Avadheshraobaba Atram, BJP District Vice President Santosh Maddiwar, BJP Taluka President Vikas Todsam and other activists were present.
