Gadchiroli Jan. 30 (District Correspondent) Journalist Pravin Rahte from village Kasvi in Armori taluka was felicitated by the district administration for his remarkable job in raising voter awareness and participating in the democratic festival in the district Lok Sabha and Assembly general elections on the day of voting.
Not only did Pravin Rahate do a great job in increasing the voting percentage in many villages of the taluka, but also for his commendable work in providing the elderly voters with sticks and helping them to exercise the right to vote. Pravin Rahte was honoured by the district administration with a certificate of honour at the hands of the Additional District Collector and Deputy District Election Officer Vivek Ghodke in a programme held at the collectorate here recently.
Tehsildar Santosh Ashtikar, Naib Tehsildar Madkam, Hemant Mohere, Accounts Officer Ramesh Madavi and other dignitaries were present. The program was introduced by Tehsildar Santosh Ashtikar, while Tehsildar Chandu Pradhan conducted the program and also proposed the vote of thanks.
