
Gadchiroli Aug. 20 (District Correspondent) Gadchiroli Police evacuated the Health Assistant from Bhamragad for medical treatment with the help of helicopter today and helped the woman to get timely treatment.
Due to the heavy rains that have been lashing the district for the past few days and the flooding of the Perlkota river, a total of 112 villages including Bhamragad have lost contact with Gadchiroli since yesterday.
The condition of the health worker Seema Bambole from village Arewada under Bhamragad police station was critical due to illness. She needed to be shifted to Gadchiroli immediately for proper and better treatment.
Based on the information of the Chief Executive Officer Zilla Parishad and considering the immediate need for medical evacuation of the patient, the Pawan Hans helicopter of Gadchiroli Police immediately left for Bhamragad and brought the patient safely to Gadchiroli. She has been admitted to the District General Hospital here for further treatment. Currently, her condition is stated to be stable and out of danger.
This operation was carried out by Gadchiroli Police in coordination with the Zilla Parishad and District Administration, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Bhamragad, officers and staff of Post Bhamragad, Revenue Officer and staff of Bhamragad Taluka, Pawan Hans Pilot Srinivas, Co-Pilot Ashish Paul.
