Gadchiroli Sept. 17 (District Correspondent) Platinum Jubilee School and Junior College students have been selected for the divisional level yoga contest. They showed brilliant performance in the district yoga competition organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Services and District Sports Council here recently.
Around 40 students from various parts of the district had participated in this contest. In the group of girls under 14 years of age, Ms. Swara Usendi bagged the first position, while Ms. Sejal Kapgate secured second rank, Ms. Durva Kudkawar came third, Pranjali Wargantiwar fourth.
In the group of girls under 17 years of age Ms. Falguni Narule was second and Disha Bihani came third. All these students practiced regularly under the guidance of Dr. Anil Nikode, Yoga Coach.
General secretary of the school Aziz Nathani, Principal Rahim Amlani, District Sports Officer Ghanshyam Ghatale, Administrative Officer Raja Naidu have congratulated the students. School teachers Paras Gundawar, Nikshan Deuramle, Rosina Budhwani, Yashwant Kurudkar also have congratulated the students.
