Gadchiroli Jan. 30 (District Correspondent) The National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteer should always think positively about what he can do for the society as a responsible citizen. India is known as a country of youth in the world. Today, the impact of Digital India on the youth is very big. Digital India and Youth India are two sides of the same coin. Many problems are being solved through digital world. The rate of fraud through digital is increasing in the society. The youth should create awareness in the society about such fraud, said Sub-divisional Officer and Assistant District Collector of Kurkheda Ranjit Yadav adding that NSS volunteers should be the brand ambassadors of Digital India in the true sense.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the NSS camp on the topic ‘Youth for Digital India’ at Rani Durgavati Training Centre Erandi run by Shri Govindrao Munghate Arts and Science College, Kurkheda the other day.

The program was presided over by the President of the Sanstha Dr. Rajabhau Munghate, while the special guests were social worker Ms. Shubhada Deshmukh, dy. sarpanch Ram Lanjewar, Keshav Gurnule of Srishti Institute, Sarpanch Santosh Hichami, former dy sarpanch Kusanji Hidko, Police Patil Chokoba Sakhre, Vice Principal P. S. Khope, NSS representative Rakesh Uike, NSS head Dr. Sandeep Kachtunge.

Speaking further, BJP leader Ranjit Yadav said to reduce those problems, NSS volunteers should take the initiative. They should work for disaster management, illiteracy, and eradication of superstition. He also mentioned Gandhiji’s “Let’s go to the villages” slogan and reminded that Swami Vivekananda wanted education that makes a person human.

Principal Dr. Rajabhau Munghate said that through the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, the college is connected to the society and the founder president of Dandakaranya Sanstha, Govindrao Munghate always said that true education is not only within the four walls but outside in the society. The college is always trying to realize this dream

Dr. Sandeep Kachtunge made n introductory speech, Dr. Ravindra Vikhar introduced the guests, Ms. Divya Gaikwad moderated and Neha Lillare expressed the vote of thanks.
