Gadchiroli July 21 (District Correspondent) A delegation of the Nationalist Congress Party (AP), including former Panchayat Samiti member Harshvardhan Baba Atram, met the Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department Rohit Ravva in Alapalli and discussed the issue of roads that are incomplete and potholed due to the contractor’s negligence. The delegation warned to launch an agitation if the roads are not repaired as soon as possible.
The road has been badly damaged due to the negligence and delay of the contractor. Potholes have appeared on the approach road at Vangepalli. The Mahagaon, Devalmari roads are not being maintained and repaired. Mr. Atram expressed his strong displeasure over this.
The office bearers also became aggressive on the issue of every road and bridge from Ashti to Lagam, Allapalli and Alapalli to Sironcha, along with the national highways, Allapalli to Mulchera in Aheri assembly constituency. Citizens and students are suffering unnecessarily due to the bad roads.
On this occasion, Dr. Mitali Atram, NCP District Working President Riyaz Sheikh, Allapalli Sarpanch Shankar Meshram, Taluka President Nagesh Madavi, Surendra Alone, Vishesh Bhatpalliwar, Kailash Koret, Vasudev Peddiwar, Javed Ali, Parag Pandhare, Ratan Durge, Mantayya Atram, Tirupati Madavi, Jafar Ali and many other activists were present.
