Gadchiroli Sept. 2 (District Correspondent) Ms. Astha Barsagade, the daughter of well-known social worker Dr. Dilip Barsagade has been selected for the post graduate study of ‘M. A. in Inequality and Social Sciences’ at the famous Leeds University in England.
Astha has been awarded a partial scholarship by Leeds University for this course. She has recently completed the International Diploma in Community Development course from the Asian Social Institute in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, which is famous for its detailed and in-depth course in social work.
The Japan Asian Association and Asian Friendship Society, a Japan-based organization, provided a scholarship for this course. It is noteworthy here that Astha Barsagade graduated in social work from Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj University Nagpur and got a place in the merit list of the university.
