
Gadchiroli Sept. 24 (District Correspondent) ‘Mridagandh’, the annual magazine of Shri Govindrao Munghate Arts and Science College, Kurkheda run by Dandakaranya Educational and Cultural Development Research Institute, was released at DCC Bank auditorium here at the hands of senior cooperative leader Arvind Poreddiwar the other day.
President of Dandakaranya Institute Prin. Dr. Rajabhau Munghate, presided while Chief Editor Dr. Ravindra Vikhar, members of the editorial board Dr. Narendra Arekar, Dr. Bhaskar Tupte, Dr. Gunwant Vadapalliwar, Dr. Sanjay Mahajan, Ms. Yogita Khandait, Prof. Sheshrao Yelekar were prominently present.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Poreddiwar said that the annual issue based on cooperation is of very good quality and its cover, pictures, font size, word arrangement, construction, etc. are worth appreciating. He congratulated the college principal Dr. Rajabhau Munghate and the entire editorial board for producing such a quality quality magazine.
Dr. Munghate said that the year 2025 was declared as the Year of Cooperation by the United Nations. Taking the main topic ‘Cooperation’ as the main theme, the students of the college have expressed their writing skills by writing quality articles, poems, jokes in Marathi, Hindi and English languages.
Mridugandh annual magazine has been awarded the first prize of Gondwana University for five consecutive years and was selected for the first prize of the prestigious Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan in Mumbai.
The program was conducted by Prof. Dr. Narendra Arekar and the vote of thanks was given by Dr. Ravindra Vikhar.
