Gadchiroli Oct. 4 (District Correspondent) This years Jeevan Sadhana Gaurav Award of the Gondwana University will be given posthumously to veteran leader and educationist from Brahmapuri Marotrao Kamble. Dr. Nandkishore Khatri from Chandrapur will also be given this award.
The awards will be presented at the 14th anniversary of Gondwana University that will be celebrated on October 6 next 2025 at the New Cultural Hall of the University. This was informed by Dr. Shriram Kawle, Pro VC and Dr. Anil Hirekhan, Registrar of the university in a press conference here this afternoon.
Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Prashant Bokare will preside and the famous neurologist from Nagpur, Padma Shri Dr. Chandrashekhar Meshram, will be the chief guest, Pro-VC Dr. Shriram Kawle, will be present.
Gondwana University was established on 2nd October 2011 in Gadchiroli, a district with rich tradition of various dialects, tribal culture that preserves its relationship with natural resources, water-forest-land. This university is now entering its fifteenth year and has become the focal point of educational development in Gadchiroli.
Gondwana University Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Shriram Kavale and Registrar Dr. Anil Hirekhan have appealed the directors, principals, teachers, non-teaching officials, students to attend this programme in large numbers.
