
Gadchiroli Jan. 29 (District Correspondent) ‘The annual gathering of the college is not just a formality; it is a demonstration of love, trust and affection among us. The purpose of the gathering is to communicate with each other, strengthen our interests and jointly chart a bright path for the future’, stated Dr. Anil hirekhan, Registrar of Gondwana University while inaugurating Aranyadhun- 2025the Annual Festival of Mahila Mahavidyalaya here the other day.
When we have all come together, we should remember only one thing, which is ‘relationships with each other and common development’. The gathering will be successful due to the contribution of all the students. Let us connect with each other’s thoughts and make our future bright together, he added.
President of Saibaba Gramin Vikas Sanstha Shalinitai Munghate, Principal of Mahila Mahavidyalaya Dr. Yogesh Patil, Principal of Phule-Ambedkar Social Work College Dr. Suresh Khangar, Dr. Anil Chahande, Dr. Nandaji Satpute were present as the chief guests.
The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. The dignitaries present appreciated the program and praised the skill of the students. The program began with a welcome song.
Principal of the college Dr. Yogesh Patil presented a review of the previous year and gave an account of the progress of the students. Various cultural programs, dances, songs and plays were presented in this festival. Also, competitions like Rangoli, Mehndi, Classroom Decoration, Musical Chair, Spoon Ball, Cricket, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Slow Cycle, Quiz Competition etc. were organized.
The prize distribution ceremony was held in presence of Dr. Yogesh Patil, Dr. Anita Lokhande, Dharmesh Munghate and Rohidas Raut. The students who had performed outstandingly in the field of sports and culture were honoured with prizes. Medals and certificates were distributed to them.
The program was effectively coordinated by Dr. Pramod Bodhane, the vote of thanks was given by the Head of the Cultural Department, Dr. Kundan Dufare. Dr. Pragya Tripathi, Prof. Sunita Salve, Prof. Megha Bhaskarwar, Prof. Vina Tumbde, Prof. Rupa Sav, Prof. Pallavi Mandavkar, Prof. Darshana Khewale, Prof. Kirti Pullakwar, Prof. Chandrashekhar Gadsulwar, Prof. Rupesh Borkar, Prof. Dnyaneshwar Dhakate, Prof. Pratap Shende, Prof. Vilas Parkhi, Prof. Maroti Waghdhare, Dr. Amit Gajbhiye, non-teaching staff Madhukar Dhanorkar, Lata Wailkar, Shubham Bogwar, Sangeeta Girole, Vigilance Nikhade and students were also involved in the success of the programme.
