Gadchiroli Nov. 8 (District Correspondent) Many welfare schemes for OBCs have been introduced by the Mahayuti government. Maha Vikas Aghadi is however trying to create unrest in Maharashtra. We are here to transform the deprived people. The Mahayuti government is committed for the development and that is why this government should come back in power in the state.
This was stated by Mr. Sangmalal Gupta, OBC National General Secretary and former Member of Parliament in charge of Maharashtra while campaigning for the official candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party from Armori Assemb;ly constituency Krishna Gajbe at Wadsa-Desaiganj on Thursday.
He appealed to the voters to elect Mr. Gajbe with huge margin for the third time. Mr. Gupta further said the government of Maharashtra has brought many welfare schemes for Bahujans, farmers. By bringing huge investments in roads, irrigation, industry, today Maharashtra has overtaken Gujarat to become the number one in the country. To change the life of the common man in the state and to develop the Assembly area, victory of Gajbe is necessary, he added.,
Maharashtra Secretary of OBC morcha Sanjay Gathe, MLA Krishna Gajbe, State Member OBC Association Prakash Bagmare, District Vice President Motilal Kukreja, District General Secretary Sadanand Kuthe, District President OBC Morcha Anil Pohankar, former MC chief of Kurkheda Ravindra Gotefode were present.
Mr. Sanjay Gathe said that 100 percent free electricity scheme for farmers, Modi Awas scheme for OBCs, scholarship scheme for all courses abroad, 72 hostels in 36 districts for OBCs in Maharashtra have been approved by the Mahayuti government. A curriculum-wise education loan interest repayment scheme was sanctioned to OBC students. The National OBC Commission was given constitutional status. 27 percent reservation was implemented for OBC student admission in Central Naval School and Central Military School. 27 percent reservation was implemented for OBC category under All India Quota in MBBS and MS degree and graduate admissions. The library was approved in the Armori Assembly and given a boost for competitive examinations, he informed.
BJP Taluka President Sunil Pardhi conducted the program, while Netaji Sundarkar gave a vote of thanks. A large number of OBCs and comman voters attended the programme.
