Gadchiroli Aug. 24 (District Correspondent) The workers of Maha Vikas Aghadi staged demonstrations today in protest against the incidents of exploitation of school girl in Badlapur and also assault on a woman in Armori, Nagbhid .
A large number of workers from the alliance parties of the Maha Vikas Aghadi assembled at Indira Gandhi square of the city with black ribbons tied to their wrists and mouths and protested the incidents and demanded urgent action against the accused.
The state government is failing to deal with such rising incidents, it was alleged by the leaders. MP of Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha Constituency Dr. Namdev Kirsan, District President of Congress Committee Mahendra Bramhanwade, District Chief of Shiv Sena Wasudev Shedmake, NCP Sharad Pawar Group City President Vijay Gordwar, Working President NCP Prakash Taksande, District Secretary of CPI Devrao Chavale, Secretary of Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress Vishwajit Kowase, former ZP Vice President Manohar Poretti, City President Congress Committee Satish Vidhate, Women District Chief of Shiv Sena Chayatai Kumbhare, Dr. Sonal Kowe, Rajnikant Motghare, District President Youth Congress Nitesh Rathod prominently participated in the agitation.
Senior activists Rupesh Tickle, Abdulbhai Panjwani, Dattatray Kharwade, Atul Mallelwar, Prabhakar Wasekar, Sunil Chadgulwar, Devaji Sontakke, Anil Kothare, Principal Lanjewar, Prabhakar Wasekar, Charudatta Pohane, Rakesh Ratnawar, Gaurav Yenpreddiwar, Uttam Thackeray, Suresh Bhandekar, Majid Syed, Subhash Dhait and many other activists of Mahavikas Aghadi also participated.
