Gadchiroli Jan. 2 (District correspondent) Mahatma Gandhi Art Science College, Armori had organized the annual cultural meet ‘Yuvarang- 2024’ in the college the other day.
The programme was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Mayur Wanmali, Member of Manoharbhai shikshan Mandal. Mr. Noorallibhai Panjwani, Harishchandra Bondre, Sorte Guruji, Umakant Vanmali, Principal Dr. Lal Singh Khalsa, Vice Principal Dr. Chandrakant Dorlikar, Prof. Dr. Dnyaneshwar Thakre, Prof. Shashikant Gedam were prominently present.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Mayur Wanmali said cultural activities have a great importance in students’ life. That is why the Sanstha has been organizing such events since the time of the late President Wamanrao Wanmali and kishorbhau Wanmali. The students should utilize this platform for showing their skill and develop their personality, he appealed.
Mr. Panjwani recalled that from the beginning, this college encouraged many talented artists. The students of our institution have gained fame in the country and abroad. Students should pursue college education along with other talents to get success in life. Students should overcome the hurdles and come forward and bring glory to the institution, he appealed.
Dr. Lal Singh Khalsa said, the college has created many artists by providing them platform of cultural events. Many of them have achieved glory which is inspirational for the present students, he stated reminding that late Wamanraoji Wanmali, Kishorebhau Wanamali personally used to boost up enthusiasm by attending the program.
The students of the college presented various cultural programmes in this meet and showed their talent.
Dr. Vijay Raivatkar conducted the programme and Mr. Sainath Addalwar proposed the vote of thanks.
