Gadchiroli Aug. 7 (District Correspondent) In yet another show of compassion and helpfulness, the Lloyds Metals and energy Ltd. provided its helicopter to shift the students injured in a ghastly accident on Gadchiroli-Armori highway early this morning.
An unfortunate and painful incident took place in which 4 youths died and 2 youths were injured.
The injured were being treated at the Gadchiroli General Hospital and when it was learned that a helicopter was needed to send them to Nagpur, Lloyds Metals immediately made its own helicopter available and the injured were taken to Nagpur for further treatment.
Lloyds Metals had earlier also provided a helicopter and ed its social commitment. Recently, on August 2, the company’s Managing Director Mr. B. Prabhakaran himself had flown a helicopter to transport Police Naik Mr. Rahul Gaikwad, who had suffered a heart attack, from Hedri to Nagpur for treatment.
