
Gadchiroli May 20 (District Correspondent) Lloyds Infinite Foundation (LIF), under its community development initiatives, successfully conducted a ten-day Summer Camp at Lloyds Sports Academy, Hedri, drawing participation of over 500 children daily, including those from remote villages of Etapalli and Bhamragarh talukas of the district.
The summer camp was designed to offer a blend of physical training, creative learning, and personal growth opportunities to children aged 6 to 16 years. The activities included athletics, archery, football, volleyball, kabaddi, cricket, dance, arts & crafts, and drawing, enabling the children to explore their talents while building team spirit and confidence.
For 90 children who travelled from far-off tribal areas, LIF ensured comprehensive support including travel, accommodation, and nutritious meals. All participants of the summer camp were provided with sportswear, encouraging unity and identity.
Beyond physical activities, the sessions on environmental awareness, safety training, personality development, and employment guidance were also held. An interactive session with local police officials and senior officials of Lloyds Metals was also organized during the camp.
The conclusion witnessed the participation of a large number of villagers, parents, local leaders, police officials, and employees from Lloyds Metals and Energy Ltd. LIF, and Lloyds Infrastructure & Construction Ltd. The event was marked by a showcase of the students’ impressive artwork, and cultural performances that left the audience spellbound, and their parents proud.

Sarpanch, Nagulwadi; Vanita Naroti-Korami, Sarpanch, Todsa; Ganesh Gotha, Sarpanch, Udera; Vilas Gawde, Sarpanch, Burgi; Saurav Kawdo, Police Patil, Burgi; Komti Gawde, Police Patil, Mohorli; Vijay Timma, Police Patil, Kudari; Madhav Gawde, Police Patil, Nagulwadi; Dasaji Korami, Police Patil, Petha; Rama Gota, Police Patil, Ekra Khurd, and other dignitaries were present prominently on this occasion.
472 children were awarded certificates and prizes worth over Rs. 2.35 lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. B Prabhakaran, Managing Director of Lloyds said this camp was not just about fun and games – it was about building dreams, confidence, and a strong foundation for the future. It was heartening to see children discovering their interests and forging new friendships.
