Gadchiroli March 4 (District Correspondent) Gondwana University and Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh, Gadchiroli Branch have jointly organized a state-level youth literature meet on March 5 and 6 next at the new auditorium of Gondwana University. Young writers from all over Maharashtra will participate in this meet.

The meet will be inaugurated on March 5 at 10.30 am. Earlier, Granth Dindi will be taken out in the city. Well-known young actor Harshal Patil and social activist Dr. Aniket Prakash Amte will be present as the chief guests at the opening ceremony.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prashant Bokare will be the chairman of reception committee. Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Shriram Kawale will be the co- chairman while well-known young writer Akshay Chandel will preside. Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh President Pradeep Date, General Secretary Vilas Manekar and University Registrar Dr. Anil Hirekhan will be present.

Various seminars, seminars, kavi sammelanas, drama, poetry and music programs have been organized in the two-day conference.

Seminars will be held on important topics such as ‘Modern Technology and Marathi Language and Literature Conferences’ and ‘Vartamaanacha Vedh’. Amrit Bang will be the chairman of the seminar ‘Want to Read? What? How?’.

An invited poet’s meet will be held in the afternoon and Mumbai poet Jitendra Lad will be the chairman. A solo play ‘Nali’ produced by Jalgaon, will be presented.

Various seminars, a student poets’ meet and a Ghazal Mushaira will be held on March 6. The meet will conclude at 4.30 pm on March 6 and Sahitya Akademi Award-winning writer Devidas Saudagar will be present as the chief guest.

Gondwana University Registrar Dr. Anil Hirekhan has appealed to all literature lovers to attend this meet.
