Gadchiroli May 15 (District Correspondent) Malaria Microscopy training was organized for laboratory scientific officers working at the district hospital, sub-district hospital, rural hospital and primary health center level under malaria prevention special action programme recently.
The camp was inaugurated at the hands of Ms. Ayushi Singh, CEO of Zilla Parishad. Assistant Director of Health Department Dr. Shyam Nimgade was especially present.
Speaking on the occasion Ms. Singh said that training is important to improve the quality of health care and prompt diagnosis and prompt treatment of winter fever will be convenient with the training.
National Institute of Malaria Research, Delhi had organized this training at Sai Institute of Nursing Medical Science Gadchiroli. The training will include blood testing to determine the parasite and its species, stages of development of the parasite in the human body and their life cycle, rapid diagnosis of the parasite and RDK for proper treatment of the infected patient. Basic training will be imparted to Laboratory Science Officers through demonstration on Quality of Tests.
At the launch of the training session, District Health Officer Dr. Pratap Shinde, Assistant District Health Officer Dr. Amit Salve, District Malaria Officer Dr. Lokesh Kumar Kotwar, Central Level Coach Naseem, Technical Officer, Hariom, State Level Trainer Dr. Sanjay Karlekar, Junior Entomologist Bhaskar Suryavanshi, Krishna Avadhoot, Health Supervisor Sachin Dongre were also present.
