Gadchiroli May 15 (District Correspondent) Mr. Kartik Lokhande, senior journalist from Nagpur has joined as the Manager, Public Relations at the well-known Lloyds Metals and energy Ltd. Company here.
The announcement of Mr. Lokhande’s joining was made by Mr. S. S. Khandwawala, Director of the company in a press meet at hotel Landmark this afternoon. Colonel Vikram Mehta, Resident Director was especially present.
Mr. Lokhande was associated with the news paper for the last over 25 years and has extensively reported on the variety of topics covering different parts of the country. He has also covered the issues of Gadchiroli district during his journalistic career.
Introducing Mr. Lokhande with the media persons, Mr. Khandwawala said with his joining will provide the better information of the activities of the Lloyds Company to the press that will bring the people and the Company closer.
Colonel Mehta said that the Lloyds wanted to have a full-fledged media in charge to keep the local press informed about its developments and activities and Mr. Lokhande will perform this task efficiently as he has a vast experience of media.
Interacting with the media persons at the introductory press meet Mr. Lokhande said he will continue to work as a bridge between the Lloyds company and the media and will update the media with the developments in the Company. He also sought necessary cooperation from the media in this task.
Some of the journalists also expressed their views on the occasion and assured their full cooperation to the new media officer and the Company.
