Gadchiroli July 31 (District Correspondent) Tribal Development Minister Dr. Ashok Uike appealed for effective implementation of the central government schemes ‘PM Janman’ and ‘Dharti Aaba’ to accelerate the development of Gadchiroli district.

Integrated Tribal Development Project Gadchiroli, Aheri and Bhamragad jointly organized a beneficiary gathering, inauguration of office building, school buildings and girl’s hostels online at Sumanand Sabhagriha here on Wednesday.

The boys’ and girls’ hostels at Government Ashram School Sode, Regadi, Karwafa, Ashram School Ghati, Yermagad, Bhadbhidi, Angara, Ashram School Bamnhi, Guddiguddam, Ashram School Kothi, Jambiya were inaugurated by the minister. The foundation stone of the boys’ hostels at Jambiya was laid by the minister.

MLC Sudhakar Adbale, MLA Dr. Milind Narote, District Collector Avishyant Panda, Additional Commissioner of Tribal Development Ayushi Singh, CEO of Zilla Parishad Suhas Gade, Assistant Collector and Project Officer of Ranjit Yadav, (Gadchiroli) Kushal Jain, (Aheri), Naman Goyal, (Bhamragad), Executive Engineer of Chandrapur PWD Nitin Mutyalwar were mainly present.

Dr. Uike expressed his belief that if the Dharti Aaba scheme is planned in the Gram Sabhas to be held on the 15th, Gadchiroli district will rank first in the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched these schemes with the tribal people at the centre, and more than 25 benefits will be provided through 17 departments. He directed to ensure that not a single tribal person is deprived of the benefits of these schemes.

He expressed confidence that qualified teachers will be appointed in ashram schools in the coming months, which will further improve the quality of the school. He also hinted at starting English medium government ashram schools in the near future. Every officer should adopt an ashram school or hostel and solve the problems there.

Adivasi Gaurav Din will be celebrated on November 15, the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda. The development path is underway in Gadchiroli district by focusing on industry, education, health and skill development.

Dr. Narote said that maximum funds from the tribal department should be spent on agriculture, irrigation and education, while MLA Adabale thanked the minister for paving the way for recruitment in the tribal department.

The program was introduced by Mr. Ranjit Yadav and Mr. Rajendra Bhuyar. In the program, cheques and house keys under PM Janman Awas Yojana were distributed to the beneficiaries of various schemes. Deputy Commissioner of Tribal Development Digambar Chavan, former MP Ashok Nete, former MLA Dr. Devrao Holi, Dr. Namdev Usendi, social worker Kusumtai Alam, BJP District President Ramesh Barsagade, Prashant Waghre, Prakash Gedam, Baburao Kohle, Vikas Rachelwar, Deepak Hedau, Praveen Latkar, Neeraj More were also present.
