Gadchiroli Jan. 22 (District Correspondent) The values of affection, sympathy, warmth, love are inculcated among the students through the National Service Scheme camps. This creates a well cultured generation. The value of work should be inculcated from childhood. NSS has helped the people in the times of calamities and difficulties. NSS is a factory of producing volunteers.
This was stated by Dr. Krishna Raut, well known speaker while speaking at the inauguration of a special NSS camp organized at village Jambulkheda by Sri Govindrao Munghate Arts and Science College, Kurkheda and Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University Nashik, Vidyabharati College recently.
Dr. Rajabhau Munghate, President of Dandakaranya Sanstha and Principal of the College presided over the program while Yogeshwar Dongarwar, Manager of State Bank of India Kurkheda Branch, Village Sarpanch Rajbatti Naitam, Deputy Sarpanch Ganpat Bansod, Deputy Principal P. S. Khope, President of Tantamukti Committee Prahlad Dhondane, Police Patil Hiralal Nandeshwar, Vasudev Dadgaye, Vice President of School Management Committee Ashatai Kavarke, Ram Singh Dhek, Vamanji Thalal, Headmistress Kumre were present.
Speaking further Dr. Krishna Raut said that through the college’s National Service Scheme, many good citizens will be created. These citizens are going to be the future pillars of the country.
The youth also poured their hearts into the work as per Baba Amte’s message, ‘Plan with awareness and be humble and implement it’.
President of the program Principal Dr. Rajabhau Munghate gave the example of lawn tennis game of Boris Baker and Andre Agassi and said that no matter how many times you fail in life, you can find the reasons for the failure and overcome it without getting tired and you can achieve victory.
On this occasion, Pralhadji Dhodne, Ganpat Bansod, Vasudeo Dadagaye also expressed their thoughts.
National Service Scheme Program Officer Dr. Gunwant Vadapalliwar made an introductory speech, Ms. Dimple Borkar conducted the programme and Suraj Sakhre thanked the attendees. To make the program a success, Prof. Dr. Ravindra Vikhar, Dr. Narendra Arekar, Dr. Rakhi Shambharkar, Prof. Harish Bawanthale, all the volunteers provided valuable support.
