GadchiroliApril 27 (District Correspondent) Samast Sakshamikran Bahu Uddeshiya Vikas Sanstha, a social organization of the city had organized a General Knowledge Competition for the students of Class 4 of Jawaharlal Nehru Higher Primary Digital School, run by Municipal Council, Gadchiroli to mark the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Phuley and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
The competition was organized with the noble aim of introducing the future academic competitive examination to the school students. The students also showed enthusiastic participation and the school teachers gave active cooperation for the activity.
The purpose of the general knowledge competition was to tell the students how education is important and takes society from darkness to light and gives a self-respecting life to a person while living in the society.
However, in the current situation, education has become a competition with time and the program was organized to make the students aware of the primary need of the students and how the future planning should be if they want to achieve the ideal principles told by the great social reformers like Mahatma Phuley and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Adv. Bhavna Lakde, President of the Sanstha guided the students. The program was attended by students and teachers of the school. Pravina Ladve, Shreyash Sayam worked hard for the success of the program.
